Alexander James is a London-based multimedia artist specialising in diverse media, including painting, sculpture, video and installation. We worked with Alexander on our SS22 show 'CLASH', where he painted directly onto pieces in the collection. This tee is an ode to our devotion to creative collaboration and marks the second piece in our series of artists collaboration t-shirts. This limited edition t-shirt is made from 100% organic cotton that is GOTS certified, meaning it has met the Global Organic Textiles Standard criteria.

We have carefully sourced our Portugal based manufacturer (Ecovest), ensuring that their factory met our ethical and quality standards; selected because of their dedication to developing fashion in an environmentally friendly manner.
Currently, we only sell directly through the REUBEN SELBY website, allowing us to be transparent with our pricing. We feel it is essential to show how we price our sustainable products to give our customers insight into all that goes into producing our garments.

Production - Materials: includes purchasing fabric, threads, labels and trim components (fastenings, binding etc.)
Labour: the price we pay for the factory to make one garment
Logistics - this includes transportation goods, fees and packaging
Company cost - the reason we markup "…%" is to pay for our company expenses, including our teams' wages, the running of our studio, equipment, freelancers, and investing future projects and products.
